Sou Visal
Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Cambodia
Mr. Visal Sou is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Cambodia. He holds a master's degree of honor in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Hong Kong in 2011, and later IDLTM from the University of Queensland in 2015. Mr. Visal is highly experienced and skilled in instructional design and e-learning, coaching, strategic planning, and organizational development with a demonstrated history of work in the education management industry. Prior to joining IBF, Mr. Visal managed one of the biggest campuses of the Australian Centre for Education (ACE), IDP Education Cambodia for 8 years, and used to serve as the Bachelor Program Coordinator at the Institute of Foreign Languages, RUPP, for 9 years. He was also a member of the Advisory Councils for the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS), Australia, from 2018–2022.
Mr. Visal currently serves as Chairman of the Asian-Pacific Association of Banking Institutes (APABI), a member of the Advisory Board of East Asia Management University (EAMU), Phnom Penh, and a member of the Advisory Board of Paragon International University. He was named among the Best CEOs from Asia 2025 by Tradeflock and as CEO of the Year 2026 by APAC Insider.
