The APABI Secretariat was approved in the 18thAPABI Executive Meeting held on 9 May 2018, and began operating in July 2018 based in Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.). The Secretariat is designed to function as an information hub to connect all of its member institutes around the Asian-pacific region.
The Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF), the member institute of Taiwan, is currently serving as Secretariat. As the foremost non-profit institution serving Taiwan’s banking industry, TABF plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and coordination among the member institutes. TABF actively collaborates with APABI member states to develop initiatives and policies, foster regional cooperation, and promote excellence in banking and finance throughout the APAC region.
Aiming to become not only a cornerstone of Taiwanese banking and finance, but also a valuable member of the global financial community, TABF’s role as Secretariat reflects its dedication to advancing Taiwan’s banking industry regionally, while promoting financial stability and sustainable growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
